The T-28 has been used worldwide used since 2003 has now been updated to Transformer 28-3G-W (UMTS) - the third generation of “Standards for Mobile Telecommunications”. The Transformer 28-3G-W neutralises and transforms the increased levels of radiation intensity caused by UMTS mobile phone masts. The 3G technology is necessary and used for various TV, video, internet and GPS navigation applications offered by the powerful generation of Smartphones.
